Within the framework of the project of the United Nations Development Program Georgia (UNDP) with the financial support of the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC) (“Modernization of Vocational Education and Training system (VET) related to agriculture in Georgia) the methodological guide-document of the extension package formation was elaborated ADA.
The above-mentioned guideline contains the methodology needed for the extension package formation in various agricultural fields.
Besides, under the scope of service the extension packages were prepared in viticulture and berry fruit (Blackberry) production for the Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti region.
The extension package contains the database of the needed materials for knowledge dissemination and the demonstration of the modern production technologies in certain agricultural field. Also the Extension package provides the recommended mechanisms for the knowledge dissemination in accordance to the specificity of certain geographical area.
The methodological guide-document of the extension package formation is comprised of five main parts. Part #I provides the information regarding the methodology of the relevant needs assessments implementation for the identification of the needed types of the extension packages for certain regions.
In the second part of the document it is presented the main components of the extension packages and their formation methodology.
The third part of the document contains the complex of recommendations focused on the dissemination of the Extension packages.
The Extension packages in were prepared in viticulture and berry fruit (Blackberry) production for the Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti region is presented in the fourth part of the elaborated document.
