“Agricultural Plants integrated Protection” – Vocational training program establishment in Imereti Region

Within the framework of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) project (“Modernization of Vocational Education and Extension in Georgian Agriculture” VET Phase 2)) the Vocational training program – ” Agricultural Plants integrated Protection” was established in Imereti Region, in Baghdati branch of college “IBERIA”.

The aim of the mentioned vocational program is to prepare competitive personnel with relevant competencies in the field of agricultural plants integrated protection.

As a result of the project implementation the beneficiary college was supplied with the relevant laboratory equipment needed for the program implementation, and besides, in order to enhance the professional capacities of the academic staff of the beneficiary college the training of trainers was conducted by ADA experts.

The beneficiary college has been authorized to announce admission to the program twice a year for a period of 3 years.
