Within the framework of the project implemented by the Agricultural Development Association (ADA) in the regions of Guria and Imereti, an innovative online platform was created.
The main goal of the above-mentioned platform is the facilitation of the non-formal professional education sector development in various fields of agriculture
At this stage the vocational program of the Agricultural Plants Integrated Protection is placed on the platform. The mentioned program was established in the vocational college “Iberia” as a result of project implemented by ADA in Imereti Region.
The platform provides the opportunity for the users to learn the lectures available on the platform, then take the test and in case of passing the minimal competency level, receive a certificate certifying the knowledge acquired.
Besides, after receiving the above-mentioned certificate, in case of desire, the platform users are able to get the official recognition of the acquired knowledge on the basis of the received certificate at college “Iberia”.
The long-term goal of the Veta-Platform is to create an accessible mechanism for non-formal education and its recognition in Georgia.
Based on this, it is planned to place other priority VE programs on the platform in the future.
